TheraBand High Resistance Bands are designed to improve your sports performance, increase fitness and increase strength. Used professionally for over 40 years, TheraBand continues to be the brand most trusted by clinicians, professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts. Available in 4 progressive resistance levels, the High Resistance Bands are ideal solutions for flexibility training, rehabilitation after injuries and whole-body training.
Each band is a 104 cm long and 0.4 cm thick continuous loop, complete with instructions and a recommended exercise schedule.
The width of the loops is different:
light | orange | 7 kg (15 lbs) | 1.3 cm wide
medium | green | 11 kg (25 lbs) | 2.3 cm wide
heavy | blue | 16 kg (35 lbs) | 3.3 cm wide
extra heavy | purple | 23 kg (50 lbs) | 4.5 cm wide
The oval TheraBand indicator shows the band at rest. When the band is stretched to twice its length at rest (100% stretch), the indicator is a circle. This helps improve the user's technique and monitor progression.
The estimated resistance levels are based on pull-out forces between 100 and 200%:
