In general, it is best to perform balance training on the balance trainer without shoes. This gets more sensory information into the foot to help you stay balanced. If it feels safer for the user to wear shoes, this is also possible. Use shoes with flat soles; do not use cleats, spikes or shoes with heels.
The Theraband Balance Trainer is available in 3 different versions:
Novice level: Green / Firm (EVA foam)
Intermediate: Blue / Soft (EVA foam)
Advanced: Black / Extra Soft (Inflated / PVC)
The balance trainer contains a non-slip ribbed surface, thus reducing the risk of the balance trainer slipping on the floor during use.
It is small and lightweight so therefore easily portable. Ideal to carry in your sports bag on the go.
The size of the balance trainer is suitable for both 1-foot and 2-foot applications.
