TheraBand High Resistance Bands are designed to improve your sports performance, increase fitness and increase strength. Available in 4 progressive resistance levels, the High Resistance Bands are ideal solutions for flexibility training, rehabilitation after injuries and whole-body training.
Each band is a 104 cm long and 0.4 cm thick continuous loop, complete with instructions and a recommended exercise schedule.
The width of the loops is different:
light | orange | 7 kg (15 lbs) | 1.3 cm wide
medium | green | 11 kg (25 lbs) | 2.3 cm wide
heavy | blue | 16 kg (35 lbs) | 3.3 cm wide
extra heavy | purple | 23 kg (50 lbs) | 4.5 cm wide
The oval TheraBand indicator shows the band at rest. When the band is stretched to twice its length at rest (100% stretch), the indicator is a circle. This helps improve the user's technique and monitor progression.
The estimated resistance levels are based on pull-out forces between 100 and 200%:
